Loading ...The object of Flaming Liberals is pretty simple. We all know the most intolerant people on the face of the Earth are liberals. Sure they cry and whine about free speech but what they really mean is free liberal speech. In fact if you take a quick look at sites like Daily Kos you will see that almost every comment is ditto’d yes. Unless by some odd chance it is free market in which case it will be a stream of no’s. In fact it is almost comical to see the people who call Rush listeners dittoheads when you think about it. And don’t you dare ever cross a liberal in the slightest fashion, remember what they did to Lieberman.
The purpose of Flaming Liberals is to demonstrate in a pointed yet humorous way just what a bunch of free speech hypocrites the liberals are by joining and posting comments and blogs/diaries to liberal sites. And then capturing the best responses and seeing how fast you can be banned.
The posts we are looking for in a nutshell are posts that demonstrate and advocate on behalf of freedom and the free market. It is OK to support a position that you don’t normally support in order to elucidate the point. An example would be;
“I understand that opposing abortion is like supporting slavery for the woman but why is it not slavery to require a person to work half the year to pay for someone else’s healthcare?”
Bait and switch is also OK, wherein you support someone’s point regarding one aspect of socialism in order to introduce another question a post or two later that forces them to acknowledge the truth of socialism which is in the end slavery. Plus once they think you are a friend it may pull them a little your way. Who knows maybe you could save a liberal.
